DESCRIPTION:

Known as an "I.M.B.A. Epic" ride, the North Umpqua Trail is one of our favorites and most popular of our guided tours. From endless singletrack, to downhill excursions, this will be a ride to remember. The North Umpqua area is known as the "Emerald Jewel Gateway to Crater Lake National Park". Commencing in the mighty Cascade Mountain range, this is truly dramatic Pacific Northwest riding. With spectacular marble river views, volcanic formations, thundering waters, and towering firs, it is just the beginning... The North Umpqua is world class. Approximately 20 miles a day over a 3 day period, you will start at the top of Lemolo Lake and make your way down to Swiftwater Park.

OUR TIPS:

• Poison Oak, ticks and mosquitos can be prevalent on the North Umpqua Trail. Bring repellent!
  
• The North Umpqua Trail is a high endurance ride for both you and your bike. Make sure your bike and your body is in good working order to ensure an optimal riding experience.
  
• Bring swim-wear! There are many opportunities to cool off.

Package Schedule

3 full days and 2 nights, groups of 4 or more can reserve 30 days in advance for a private guide.

Day 1: 

At 7am meet at the Umpquas Last Resort for shuttle to the beginning of Kelsey Valley. Your day ends at the Hot Springs.

Day 2:

Start your adventure off with the Deer Leap Segment, continuing on until you reach Horseshoe Bend Campground where you are picked up for return to lodging.

Day 3:

You will start on the Calf Creek segment continuing through the exciting Panther, Mott, and Tioga segments ending your journey at Swiftwater Park, where we will shuttle you back to your car(s).
