Umpqua’s Last Resort is proud to promote our local friends and neighbors.
Crater Lake inspires awe. Native Americans witnessed its formation 7,700 years ago, when a violent eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Scientists marvel at its purity: fed by rain and snow, it’s the deepest lake in the USA and perhaps the most pristine on earth. Artists, photographers, and sightseers gaze in wonder at its blue water and stunning setting atop the Cascade Mountain Range.
Umpqua Hot Springs is a geothermal pool located along the North Umpqua River. A very popular local area.
This local company, based in the Umpqua National Forest provides the best guided mountain bike and hiking tours of the North Umpqua Trail. They also offer trail support for individuals and groups. Their most popular service is vehicle shuttles, helping adventurers up and down the mountain “day pack” by moving their vehicles while they enjoy the trail.
Our outfitters have been guiding on the North Umpqua River for decades and provide a complete package including splash wear, safety gear, fresh riverside picnic, scenic points of interest information, and travel to and from our resort.
